Hey, a new blog! Finally…
I know it’s been forever since I’ve written a blog. I’ve just been so busy that other things took priority over blogging. But here I am now! I’ll post some pics of the photoshoot I did last week at the end of this blog. Lori Fisher from Eyecatcher Photography was the photographer. She did such a great job. She made me laugh and caught some great candids, she had me twist and contort into poses that actually came out looking hot (like the one in my profile pic)! She’s so great at what she does. And while I’m at it, I also need to thank my stylist Coco who did my hair (and always does my hair) I love her, and Briceson Ducharme who did my makeup, he did a fabulous job. He’ll do yours too – just go buy a bunch of makeup from him at the MAC store in Park Meadows (Denver, CO)! Seriously, the new high def makeup which we used in this shoot and will also use in the movie Section B is awesome! Takes at least 5 years off … so I should look about 22 in these right? Speaking of Section B – things are moving along. We’re still handling pre-production stuff, but it looks like we’ll start shooting at the end of June or after the 4th of July holiday. I’m amazingly busy and excited. Every day brings something new and I’m meeting so many new awesome people. This project is super fun, and it’s about something that we can all relate to – following your dream! So it’s nice to work with people who all believe in what the film is about and connect with them on a deeper level that just “going to work”. Plus I get to sing in front of Cyndi Lauper, which makes me alternately excited and feeling like I’m gonna barf. But when the day comes, I’ll just go do what I do and it’ll be fine. It’s the anticipation of it that’s killing me!
Once filming starts, I plan to blog as often as I can from the set. I’m looking at getting a little Acer Aspire One Netbook (so if any of you know where I can get the “I ain’t making movie star money yet” hookup, let me know!) so I can carry it around and video blog. I’ll fill you in with the haps and some pics and you can join me in my journey of making my feature film debut!
